History of wing chairs dates back to the Rococo era, which originated in France during the first half of the 18th century. Good sitting comfort in the form of a soft padding at that time became a highly esteemed status symbol along with fantastic carvings in the wood and likely gilded details.

The SL 125 wing chair from Søren Lund thus continues a historical tradition of good seating comfort, however, with a modern minimalist design that has been characteristic of Danish furniture production and design since the 1960’ies.
