WING CHAIR
History of wing chairs dates back to the Rococo era, which originated in France during the first half of the 18th century. Good sitting comfort in the form of a soft padding at that time became a highly esteemed status symbol along with fantastic carvings in the wood and likely gilded details.
The SL 125 wing chair from Søren Lund thus continues a historical tradition of good seating comfort, however, with a modern minimalist design that has been characteristic of Danish furniture production and design since the 1960’ies. A piece of furniture should have high comfort, but appear simple and clean in its expression.
The wing chair from Søren Lund is built around a solid wooden skeleton covered with high-quality foam. The chair contains many craftsmanship details, which our skilled employees carry out with great care. The chair can be used alone in the centre of the room or in groups. It is also suitable for the SL 124 sofa.
The high backrest with the wings provides good support while the height of the armrests is suitable for rest but does not limit freedom of movement. Along with the stool, you get many seating opportunities for both immersion and conversation.
